Throwback Thursday is hosted by Renee of It’s Book Talk. This meme was created to share old favorites and/or books published over a year ago. Today I’m going to be sharing a favorite of mine, The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty.
Why I chose this book:
This book was truly amazing. I was totally immersed in the story and I literally gasped when I found out what the secret was. I was like….
I loved how the author introduced each character’s story and then weaved their lives together, each one playing a significant part in the life of another. It was masterfully done. And to this day I haven’t read a more compelling epilogue. Seriously, I think my mouth was open the entire time I read it (or listened to it as this was an audiobook). The Husband’s Secret received five-stars from me without hesitation. It has remained one of my favorites. See my review of it here.
Now you. Have you read The Husband’s Secret or any other book by Liane Moriarty? What did you think? Please feel free to share.

Thanks for visiting. See ya’ next time…

This has been sitting on my Kindle for the longest time, patiently waiting to be read. I grabbed it right after I finished Big Little Lies, which was my first Liane Moriarty read. So glad to hear you enjoyed it! And now it’s back on my radar 😉

Hi Kaila. Yes, I really enjoyed The Husband’s Secret. It was an excellent read, and my first Liane Moriarty book. After I finished it I went out and bought Big Little Lies, which has been sitting on MY tbr stack. Why haven’t I read it yet? 🤔 Well, we will just have to make it a goal to get around to our Moriarty books now won’t we?
Thanks for commenting. 😉

I’ve read all of Moriarty’s books! I love her writing and that they take place in Australia, this book is a particular favorite of mine.

I loved this book!! It had the best epilogue I’ve read to date. I have to read another one of hers. Since I have Big Little Lies, it will probably be that one. ☺️
Thx for your comment. 😊

I haven’t read any of her books, but I’ll have to now after reading this – thank you! I love finding new authors to read and now I’m really wondering what the secret is.

Hi Sheila! I really liked the way this story was developed. I’ve received mixed reactions to this book. I mostly listened to this one and wonder if that might have enhanced my overall impressions of it. But I let my friend read the book and she loved it too. She figured out the secret beforehand (she’s smarter than me, lol), but it didn’t diminish her enjoyment of it. She kept texting me the whole time she was reading it!
If you choose to read it, I hope you enjoy it too.
Thanks for stopping by. It’s so nice seeing you again. 😊

I really liked this book, but I sort of feel like her books, in general, are like 3-starish for me. Great share! ❤

Hi Mischenko. This was my first book by Liane Moriarty. I thought it was really good. I listened to it which might have made it more enjoyable. I’ll have to see if I like one of her others.

The book was good, but I didn’t love the ending:(

I can see that. But I think what the ending lacked the epilogue made up for it.
