Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman

IMG_3527.JPG⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really enjoyed this book. I listened to the entire book read by Jenna Lamia and I think her reading truly enhanced my enjoyment of the story. Each character’s dynamic traits shined through in Ms. Lamia’s voice. I laughed out loud several times and found myself bookmarking several places throughout the recording so I could go back and laugh over and over again. The story itself was very good, about a young girl, CeeCee, who lives with her mentally ill mother and emotionally detached father. After her mom dies her aunt Tootie comes to get her and takes her back to Savannah, GA with her where she becomes acquainted with many colorful characters who shape her life mostly for the good. This was a touching, deeply satisfying novel that I would highly recommend.
